Katy Perry and John Mayer may be making sweet music together…but it’s not a love song.
The duo was spotted coming out of the paparazzi-swarmed Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood on Wednesday, Aug. 1, sparking rumors the Grammy Award-winning singers are now an A-list item.
But a source tells Celebuzz their meeting was a different kind of rendezvous.
What kind of date was it?
“It wasn’t a date. They met up about a potential music collaboration,” says the source.
The photos outside the famed hotel showed Perry smiling at the “Perfectly Lonely” singer from the passenger seat as he flashes a grin and drives off.
