Despite Anna Wintour’s much-publicized political leanings, Vogue is attempting to keep up bipartisan appearances, but it’s becoming an uphill battle. According to a piece in the latest TNR, the magazine approached Ann Romney for a profile earlier this year, but a person familiar with the negotiations said the proposition “fell through.” (Surely that development only made Wintour’s money-bundling efforts more vehement.) So, Janna Ryan, anyone?
