Iron Man twists his ankle on the set of the third installment of the super smart rich hero movie. The zany captain of The Avengersis said to be okay—nothing is broken and he didn’t lose any fingers like “Blossom” nearly did this week.
Robert Downey Jr. sprained an ankle while performing a film stunt. Apparently his ubber-fancy armored suit is not really all-powerful. And, apparently no one told RDJ that is not actually—wealthy industrialist Tony Stark—as he seems to truly believe he is, here at Comic Con.
He’s probably just acting though…he’s good at that.
Iron Man’s little ankle sprain will slightly delay filming for Iron Man 3, which is on a tight schedule as its release date is fast-approaching—May 3, 2013.
IM3 also stars Gwyneth Paltrow, Ben Kingsley and Don Cheadle.
